As of 12:01am on Wednesday August 12th, 2020 all food service outlets in Windsor and Essex County are permitted to operate patio service, and indoor food and drink service at a reduced capacity.
Some establishments may choose to remain closed for indoor dining and drink service at their discretion.
Effective Friday June 26th at 12:01am, anyone entering a commercial business must wear a face mask in Windsor & Essex County. You are also required to provide your name and contact information for potential contact tracing in the future. Commercial businesses include any place that that is open to the public and offer goods and/or services for sale, such as retail stores, convenience stores, malls and plazas, restaurants, personal service settings, grocery stores and bakeries, gas stations, farmers’ markets, mechanic shops, and car dealerships. Those entering and not wearing a mask may be declined service and asked to leave the premises.
